OUR STORY
Welcome to Hope's Home Community Corp (HHCC)!
Welcome to Hope’s Home Community Corp (HHCC)! We are a Christian faith-based organization dedicated to providing transitional living and comprehensive support to young parenting adults and their children. Our mission is to address the systemic breakdown of families by offering stability, growth opportunities, and purpose to create a better future for each family unit.
At HHCC, we understand the immediate survival needs of young parents and their children. Our multifaceted resource center and transitional living home provide a sanctuary from homelessness, nourishment, and assistance with immediate medical care. We prioritize family retention support and equip young parents with essential life skills and fundamentals. Our programs focus on education, financial literacy, parenting skills, employment opportunities, skills building, and external resource referrals. We also emphasize proper emotional and social development, mental health assessments, coaching, and the reframing of mindsets through exposure to successful family dynamics.

We believe in the importance of a complete family unit, and we strive to educate our participants on the benefits this structure provides for their family’s present and future. While we acknowledge that not all circumstances allow for this, we assist families of all formations in achieving the best outcomes for their units. One significant aspect of our organization is the specific attention we give to young fathers and minority communities. We recognize that young fathers often lack support, and minority fathers face additional challenges due to societal stereotypes and limited resources. Therefore, we have established a groundbreaking teen fathers’ transitional housing and resource center to meet the unique needs of young teen dads, particularly those from minority communities. Our program offers housing assistance, educational programs, mentorship, and access to vital community resources. We aim to break the cycle of limited economic prospects and strained family relationships by empowering young minority fathers to thrive as responsible parents and successful individuals.

By investing in the future of these young fathers, HHCC not only improves their lives but also contributes to the well-being and success of the entire community. We envision a future where each family unit that completes our program is set for a better future, becomes productive members of society, and never has to rely on shelters or similar organizations again. We believe in creating lasting change and fostering strong families and communities.
